If you like it...then thats what matters..my hair is pretty long...its almost to my butt and straight...and I love it, because I can still do so much with it when I want....so its not out of style...and as long as you are happy with it..then its ok. Maybe he was just having a bad day or something....but long hair is never out of style! (haha..maybe its just cuz I have long hair that I say that..but you can keep it stylish.) So just shake it off as him having a bad day or something!

well could chnge it up a bit. like tie it in a ponytail and do something creative. i use to have lng thick [trust me] hiar. and i cut it. it's so much better. it feels all light and i can make cute styles out of it.

but if you don't want that, you can style it a bit, and cut off a few inches so you'll still have long and pretty and a bit updated hairdo.

tell your husband that he can take care of his hair and you will take care of yours....he had no right to say something like that to you---my daughter has waist length black hair--she is mixed race black/white---her hair is shiny and beautiful and i would be really upset it she cut it---she gets lots of compliments on it and it is totally in style---maybe hes jealous that he doesn't have hair like yours---tell him to take a leap--if you like it that's all that matters.....if he continues to complain about it--pick something out on him that he likes about himself and let him have it about that---hes not right to do that to you!! good luck! and don't cut your hair!

As a 46 year old with butt length, slightly wavy, shiney hair, I say keep it! A lot of times men want their wives/gf to cut it not because it's out of style but because a comment was made by another man. My husband told me that he thought once that I should cut my hair off because of a man saying something sexual about 'that sexy native girl with long hair. My hubby got a twinge of 'I'm going to kill him for disrespecting my wife'. After we talked, I understood. Now, I let him brush out my hair and he loves it!
