My hair is very long, but it has layers and angles... i cant figure out how to get it into a messy bun that looks cute, and unplanned. It is also VERY thick and VERY straight... so its heavy and unmanagable. Any ideas please?!?!

Ok my hair was layered and long and thick *** hell, when i wanted the messy look I just wrapped the pony around my hair not waiting until the last wrap fora bun just let wahtever hairs get caught in the pony and try to think comfy and relaxed like you going to be around the house all day, then spray it so it stays.lol.

flip ur head upside down(when hair is still damp) then using your fingers as combs pull the hair back and put it into a bun, since u have thick hair u can create the large bun!(lucky u!) if needed use more than 1 elastic and or bobbypins!!

I have long straight thick hair up to my waste layered. Whenever I want to make a slick looking bun I just add a little bit of gel to it, so that all the hairs don't stick out, especially with layers. as you are twirling it, just apply the gel, lightly not heavily or anything, and tie your hair in and there you go.
