Long hair.. short layers!???

i really want short layers in my hair.. but i want the layers to be at my chin.. and then every thing else one length? .. sort of like a 'scene' hair cut.. but not as severe.. and my hair is a bit on the think side.. so i should probably get it thinned at the end? right? is that called feathering? can ppl please send some pictures for me to take to the hairdresser? it would really help alot! cause i have been looking all ove the interent and can't find any!

But i know exactly what you are talking about. Be detailed as possible and watch what they are doing to prevent them from making a mistake. Like my hairdresser cut my hair near my face too much and i couldn't put it behind my ear. oh and what would make yer hair look shiny is Pantene Pro-V!!! oh and learn how to style that kind of hair, when it is styled it'll look even more fantastic! see if any of their magazines have pictures. Also, tell them how short the shortest layer should be and tell them whether or whether not you want the longest layer to be trimmed or not.
