I have kinda meduim and long hair thats puffy and want it to stay down with out it being hard?

im a male just to let you know

and when i use hair products to make my hair stay down it makes my hair all hard

but i dont like that i like head banging and stuff like that and with hard hair it kinda looks gay

so does anyone know any way to make my hair stay down with out being all stiff and hard please and thx

when you go get your hair cut, see if you can have them thin it and give you some advice about how to "style" it. When they thin hair, they use special scissors to cust your hair- it takes a lot of the weight out of it so it lies more flat.

i sometimes use conditioner and comb my hair as soon as i get out of the shower. and i keep combing everytime it starts getting puffy until it fully dries.

You can use Aveda Hang Straight or for lighter formula Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid. It is great for flyaway hair. If you use the Hang Straight use when your hair is wet. You can use a water bottle to spray your hair.
