I dont want to do anything extreame though! (no cutting, dying, perming) I just want some hair do's beside the ponytail!

off the top of my head:

invest in some heated rollers from Walmart/Target.

braid your hair at night and take them out for a crimpy look

try a side part....(does wonders)

add accesories in your hair...

wear your hair down and pull the bang area back with the sides hanging down..(heidi klum, jennifer aniston)

invest in some pictures..since you dont want to go to dramatic..i would look for natural pictures in magazines..

i usually play in the mirror with my hair and create hairystyles..

i invested in the heated rollers and when i take them out. i pin them up..its really cute....

take a small portion of your hair and tie it up and leave the rest down that is a really pretty hairstyle especially for parties if you have a really nice clip to put over the hair band

OK so I have a kind of weird way for a bun but I always get compliments. ...Take your hair and pull it to the top of your head with a large scrunchy. Put it like you are going to put it into a pony tail . Then fold the hair over the scrunchy covering it completely. Then use a regular hair band over it. I also srunch it so it looks curly. Like a messy curly bun on the top of my head. THe scrunchy makes it look fuller. Then pull a little down on each side. It looks pretty .!
