How about a few highlights? but i'm not sure if thats against your religion.

But im sure you could curl it! long hair looks beautiful with flowing curls. Get some large rollers.

Or you could plait it while its wet and leave it to dry and it'll come out wavy.

or put it in a pont tail or learn how to french plait it, that can look interesting.

I nice braid, a loose braid where you have no ponytail holder to start it off, just to hold the end.

Tied up in a messy bun.

braid 2 side pieces and then bring then back and attach the two braids with a barette.
